Alas, THQ is no more having had its assets auctioned off.
As it stands:
Sega has bought Relic along with Company of Heroes, good choice, and should slot in nicely with the Creative Assembly
Ubisoft has nabbed themselves THQ Montreal along with their games 1666 and Underdog, as well as the license to South Park: Stick of Truth
Crytek optioned Homefront, makes sense as they are developing Homefront 2 and know how to do FPS
Koch media has taken Volition and Saints Row, as well as the license to Metro
Take Two has snagged the Evolve IP which Turtle Rock Studios are currently working on
There's also rumours that EA snatched up the WWE license last week, and if there's anyone who knows how to knock out yearly sports (entertainment) games its EA.
Everything else is still involved in the bankruptcy procceedings and hopefully will find a buyer, but it's a fond farewell to those Toy HeadQuarters boys, but it shows how much damage it can do assuming that a success on the Wii, uDraw, will repeat on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Such a shame... Now, who wants some THQ shares as scrap paper, I've got some going spare...dammit.
